Crìa carries biological materials that are hard to replace and easy to lose: cell lines, cryopreserved samples, reagents. Our containers hold them at temperature, from where they are made to where they are needed.

Say it out loud and you hear cryo. The name carries two more meanings, one Neapolitan and one Portuguese.
The science. Cryogenics is our native climate: we hold any temperature from −196 °C up to +8 °C.
In the Neapolitan dialect, a crìa was a coin worth almost nothing, a single barley grain stamped on its face. The word came to mean nothing at all. And nothing is exactly what we engineer: the vacuum, an emptiness so complete that heat has nowhere left to travel.
To create, to bring up, to protect what is young and precious. A cria is also the newborn of a creature. We create possibilities where there were none, and we guard what we carry as if it were our own.

Technology is applied knowledge: a tool that lets one person do what they could not do alone. A discovery only helps someone if it reaches them intact, and reaching is the hard part.
That is the part we work on. High vacuum and cryogenic cold are difficult to engineer and should not be difficult to use, so we put them into a container that needs no power, no preparation, and no manual. The complexity stays real, it just stops being the user's problem.
Look again and the letter becomes a vortex. That is deliberate: it is the physics of the product, drawn as a monogram.
A vacuum is drawn, not filled. A pump turns, and turn by turn it pulls the air out until almost nothing remains. Our mark is that motion held still.
The blue is the cold. The spiral is the pump. And the still, dark centre is the vacuum itself, the nothing that does all the work.
